16th April 15
Next Saturday 25th April, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., we are going to host a solidarity sports event in order to carry out a food collection campaign for the hundreds of families that these days cannot afford to feed their children. This event is being coordinated by our Year 13 pupils, as part of the international programme studied in school. This is the true value of this initiative.
This is a sports and family day event between schools in which we will compete in different sports: football, basketball, volleyball and handball. The tournament is aimed at Year 6 and Year 7 children and their parents. However, anyone who would like to spend a fun family day and support those taking part is warmly welcome to attend.
Since it is a family event, we will provide a catering service; although people attending may also bring their own food if they wish. We will also have bouncy castles and other entertainment for children as well as a crèche service. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a fun family day out, enjoying sports and contributing to the needs of our immediate community. Please come along and support our Year 13 pupils, who have worked hard and have dedicated so much time and effort to make this project happen!
We look fordward to meeting you all!
