The School offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities as a complement to the academic formation of our pupils. These activities are carried out during the midday lunch break (from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.), after school (from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and also on Saturday mornings. Extracurricular activities are divided into two groups: sports and cultural. Sports activities include: football, basketball, athletics, judo, aerobics and rhythmic gymnastics, fencing, tennis, padel, chess, roller-skating, handball and volleyball.
Laude Newton College Sports Club
In the past few years, the School has been represented by our teams in several local and national sports events. Up to now, we have had junior and senior football teams, a men’s basketball team, formed by parents and members of staff, and a ladies’ handball team, made up of mothers and staff members.
We also have a Running Club, thanks to which parents and members of staff can also share special moments outside of academic life, such as races, half-marathons and/or marathons.
In the academic year 13-14, the first junior girl volleyball team was created, which now has grown into two junior girl teams and a mixed senior team. Our passion for nature and sports has led us to create a Trekking Club, which organises family outings.
The aim of this website section is to offer school families the latest news, results, photos, etc. regarding these clubs. We hope you fully enjoy this central meeting point for all members of the school community.
